തൊഴിലാളി താത്പര്യങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ ലേബർ കോഡ് നടപ്പിലാക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി ബിന്ദു കൃഷ്ണ തൊഴിൽ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ബിന്ദു കൃഷ്ണ പറഞ്ഞു, തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളും താത്പര്യങ്ങളും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ലേബർ കോഡുകൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കുമെന്ന്. ലേബർ കോഡ് കരട് റിപ്പോർട്ട് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി.ഡി. സതീശന് കൈമാറിയ ശേഷം മന്ത്രി ഈ വിവരം പങ്കുവച്ചു. ട്രേഡ് യൂണിയൻ പ്രതിനിധികളുമായി നടത്തിയ ചർച്ചകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ കരട് റിപ്പോർട്ട് തയ്യാറാക്കപ്പെട്ടു. തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ക്ഷേമം, തൊഴിൽ സുരക്ഷ, വേതനം, ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നിയമഭേദഗതികളും നിർദേശങ്ങളും റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
